INFORMATION MAPS (MIND MAPS) AUTOMATION

In certain types of business, the delivery of information is a matter of the utmost importance. Insurance and Banking are two examples.

In an attempt to improve the processes of generation, delivery and presentation of information in this type of environment, we have developed a system that utilizes Information Maps (Mind Maps) as an instrument for the delivery, presentation and management of the information.

Information presented as an Information Map allows having an overview and a detailed view at the same time. The more information must be displayed, the more useful the Information Map is. The more policies, receipts and claims a Customer has, the more interesting will be for her to receive the information as an Information Map.

Information Maps are contained in a small zip file downloadable from the Internet or attachable to an email message. The content can be examined with a free viewer downloadable from the Internet.

Information Maps make it possible to receive information in the form of Spreadsheets, Figures, Charts, Text and Icons, all of them at the same time. The Map can have attachments and links to other Maps or external resources like Web pages. The user can browse all the information without changing from a screen to another. Information can be exported to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, or Pdf.

Spreadheets and Charts

Information Maps are generated automatically using information extracted from databases in the mainframes or nertworks of the Insurance Company or Broker. The easiest way is by generating an XML file that is then processed using the software developed by Infoseg. In this way, an Information Map is generated and then sent to a Web site by FTP, from where it can downloaded.

In advanced applications, the information contained in the Information Maps can be sent to the Internet where it can be shared by all the stakeholders in a collaborative work (Insurance Company, Insurance Broker, Customer, Claims Adjuster)

Information Maps, besides being visualized, can also be modified by using the program Mind Manager 2012 (Video).

Display dynamic Outlook or Excel content. Export web pages, images, PDF files and more. Or, share hosted interactive map files with anyone on the web even if they do not have MindManager.
